Samsung LE40F86BDX

Things move at such a breakneck pace in the world of high-definition television: it was only 5 months ago that Samsung treated us to one of the best LCDs in its class (in the form of the LE40M86BD), dishing out an enthralling level of blacks that I never thought was possible on a backlight-driven liquid crystal matrix. Now they've rolled out an upgraded version – the Samsung LE40F86BD – that features 100Hz Motion Plus technology and promises a higher dynamic contrast ratio.

Note: This model is no longer available from Samsung... it has been replaced by the LE40A656.
