Toshiba, a household name with electrical appliances, has been a latecomer to the extremely lucrative HDTV market. They jumped onto the bandwagon last year with the hugely successful and award winning WLT66 series for the lower and medium range but failed to stir the imagination of more discerning customers who wanted more features and better picture quality.

With the current range discontinued, Toshiba intends to establish their brand over the next few months by introducing the new series C, X and Z to cater to a wider range of viewers. We review the 32C3030D, which we suspect will be popular with the budget conscious buyer to see if it lives up and hopefully exceeds its predecessor.
