New Samsung HDTVs M87, R87 & Q97

Samsung has launched a new range of TVs for the European market. (M87 photo above)The M87 series is a 1080p HDTV, R87 is the cheaper HD ready range and Q97, their newest plasma screen.

The M87 has the following features:

1. Available in 37″, 40″, 46″ and 52″

2. 1080p High Definition

3. Movie Plus (motion compensated frame interpolation)

4. 3 HDMI 1.3

5. Super Clear Panel for deep blacks

6. Wide Colour Enhancer for wider colour gamut

7. Dynamic contrast ratio of 15000:1 (8000:1 for 37 “)

8. 8 ms response time

9. SRS TruSurround XT
