Toshiba has launched five new ranges of entry-level LCD-based HDTV displays for the year ahead at a press event held at The Grove luxury hotel resort near London this week. Each of these Regza LCD TV models will be equipped with edge-mounted LED backlight technology, the company’s Active Vision video processing engine (50Hz), and at least an integrated Freeview tuner. The more advanced sets, such as the RL833 series, will have several step-up features.
