LG Business Solutions has announced the availability of three new high-definition projectors designed for business and educational environments, such as corporate offices, government offices and schools, as well as business travelers and field salespersons. The new models all offer a long operational lifespan and they’re incredibly bright too, making them great options for those who need a solution that works well in sunlit environments.

The first of the new models is the LG ProBeam BU70QGA 4K UHD Projector, which is designed for large, open spaces. It’s said to be the first in LG’s 4K UHD projector lineup to feature the new webOS Smart Signage 6.0 platform, which helps to simplify networked content distribution and streaming, while providing advanced picture settings such as edge blending, picture-in-picture and picture-by-picture functionality. The edge blending feature is especially useful, allowing the operator to control luminance in the area where the projected light overlaps. It also enables the connection of overlapping light from two or more projectors via colour correction.

Powered by a high-performance system-on-chip, the LG ProBeam BU70QGA is able to handle multiple tasks at once, while delivering smooth content playback. It features an intuitive user interface and also has simple app development tools onboard. It can also connect with LG’s cloud-based device management platform ConnectedCare.

According to LG, users can expect incredibly detailed images with a brightness rating of 7,000 lumens, making it ideal for brightly lit spaces such s meeting rooms, lobbies and auditoriums. Other specs include lens shift, 1.6x optical zoom, built-in wireless and an integrated camera that helps to automate setup and positioning. There’s also motorized focus and zoom controls to adjust the picture on the fly, and it has a pair of 5W speakers built-in.

For those who don’t need something quite so bright, the LG ProBeam BF40QS Projector is being pitched as a solution for medium-sized environments. It’s a full-featured projector with 4,000 lumens of brightness, WUXGA resolution, 1.6x optical zoom and horizontal and vertical lens shift, making it easy to install in classrooms, company boardrooms and similar-sized spaces.

Finally, LG announced the launch of its LG PF510QC LED Portable Projector, which is housed in a compact and lightweight body for those who need portability combined with functionality. It’s aimed at traveling business persons and salespeople, and comes with full HD resolution, a 4-channel LED light source and offers brightness of 450 lumens.

It measures just under 88 cubic inches in volume and weighs just over 1.3 kgs, making it extremely portable, and quick and easy to set up. With auto vertical keystone correction onboard, accurate projection is ensured even from an imperfect angle, while its support for AirPlay 2 and Screen Share allows for simple connectivity to any mobile device. Bluetooth Sound with Dual Sound Out is also present, allowing users to connect to two Bluetooth audio devices at once. LG says it’s ideal for field sales teams and home offices, or for traveling workers who may not always have access to conference rooms and larger displays.

LG Business Solutions Director of Sales Tom Carroll said the three new projectors provide premium performance at a range of price points.

“These new projectors are some of the most powerful, flexible and cost-effective display solutions available, making professional-quality AV systems accessible for schools, companies and organizations of all sizes,” he said. “Professional integrators now have more options when recommending a ProBeam projector to their clients in corporate facilities, government facilities, or K-12 and higher-ed institutions.”
