First details of Samsung's 2026 OLED TVs emerge

Information from a database of Samsung Electronics’ parts has revealed that the company is going to skip the “G” designation for next year’s OLED TVs and instead go straight to “H”. What this means is that its high-end OLED TVs will be known as the Samsung S95H, S90H and S85H, respectively.

The company’s plans were first surfaced by FlatpanelsHD, which reported on the leak, and although there’s no indication of what updates might be in store for its OLED TVs, we do have at least a partial list of the model sizes that will be available.

In 2026, Samsung’s flagship OLED TV will be the S95H, and it will be available in at least three sizes – 65, 77 and 83-inches. Of course, this year’s top-of-the-line model, the Samsung S95F, came in four sizes, including a smaller 55-inch version. What’s not clear yet is if Samsung intends to eliminate the smaller size from next year’s flagship, though, for FlatpanelsHD points out that there might just be some reason as to why it’s not listed in the database presently, and could be added later.

We should also add that the 83-inch version of the Samsung S95F does not have one of Samsung Display’s QD-OLED panels, but rather a WOLED panel supplied by its rival LG Display. However, the 2024 version of the database did list an S95F with a QD-OLED panel, but for whatever reason, it was never launched on the market. But it does raise the possibility that next year’s 83-inch S95H might have a QD-OLED panel, which many believe is superior.

The widest variety of size options can be found in the S90H, where 42, 48, 55, 65, 77 and 83-inch models are all listed. This year, the S90F was subject to a panel lottery, and could be equipped with either a WOLED or QD-OLED panel, based on their size. In the case of the 42-inch, 48-inch and 83-inch models, they all featured WOLED panels, but the 55-inch, 65-inch and 77-inch sizes could come with either type. Once again, it’s not clear if Samsung intends to continue with this practice of mixing panels into 2026, but given the huge number of WOLED panels it has been reported as ordering from LG Display, we’d imagine it’s likely to be the case.

As for the Samsung S85H, this is the company’s entry-level OLED TV, and it’ll be available in at least four sizes, with 55, 65, 77 and 83-inch options all listed in the parts database.

There are no listings yet for Samsung’s 2026 Mini-LED and RGB-LED TVs, but FlatpanelsHD has discovered something interesting in the form of new, patented trademarks that could well be applied to those upcoming models. The company has registered trademarks for “Neo mini LED and “Neo Micro RGB” in the U.S. and other regions, which suggests that it’s considering updating its Neo TV branding somewhat.

Samsung’s 2025 Mini-LED TVs are all known as “Neo QLED”, which perhaps isn’t such an accurate reflection of what they truly are. By changing the names to “Neo mini LED”, Samsung would be keeping up with rivals such as TCL and Hisense, who have jumped firmly on the Mini-LED bandwagon with names that reflect the actual technology inside their top TVs.

Meanwhile, the “Neo Micro RGB” tag will likely be applied to its upcoming – and possibly also existing – RGB-LED models, which are presently known simply as Micro RGB. Samsung has also reportedly registered a new “Neo UHD” trademark too, which may be used with some of its lower-end, non-Mini-LED LCD models.
