LG Electronics has announced that its 2026 QNED evo Mini-LED TVs are now available to preorder in the U.S., headed by the monster-sized 115QNED92BU. It’s the company’s first-ever 115-inch QNED TV, and it sits at the top of its LCD TV hierarchy this year, though it’s not as premium as its flagship OLED and new Micro RGB evo TVs.
In the U.S., the QNED92B is the same as the QNED90 model that will be launched globally, with the “B” designation indicating that it’s a 2026 model. The TV boasts a 4K resolution Mini-LED panel and LG’s Alpha 8 AI Processor Gen 3, which is an older chipset. It’s also the only one of LG’s QNED TVs in 2026 to come with Precision Dimming Ultra local dimming technology.
That distinction is important, because all of the other QNED models this year will come with Precision Dimming Pro or an even older flavour of the technology, and that means they will have fewer dimming zones overall and less precise control over blooming and contrast. LG said the 115-inch model has 25% more dimming zones than last year’s largest QNED TV, though it hasn’t provided an exact figure.
In terms of colour, the QNED92B comes with LG’s Dynamic QNED Colour Pro technology that generates Intertek-certified 100% colour volume. What this means is that colour accuracy can be maintained even at the highest brightness level this TV is capable of. That’s important for HDR content, even if LG has also declined to publish any peak brightness figures for its latest QNED models.
The QNED92B also comes with a 165Hz panel with support for VRR and ALLM, and has a Motion Booster mode that will crank up the refresh rate to 330Hz at lower resolution of 1,080p. For console gamers, we should note that 4K/120Hz is still the practical ceiling due to HDMI 2.1’s bandwidth limitations. LG has confirmed that the 2026 QNED TVs won’t support the upcoming HDMI 2.2 standard, nor Dolby Vision 2. If you don’t have a games console, you’ll still be able to access games through the LG Gaming Portal, which bundles cloud gaming services such as GeForce NOW, Xbox Cloud Gaming and others.
The new QNED TVs, which also include the LG QNED84B Mini-LED model that’s available in smaller sizes ranging from 55-inches to 100-inches, runs webOS 26. For the first time, both Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot are available for voice control and AI-powered content recommendations, and users will also find a Sports Portal for things like live scores and match alerts.
The 115-inch QNED92B is priced at $12,999.99, while the 55-inch QNED84 starts at just $729.99 for the 55-inch model, rising to $3,999.99 for the largest 100-inch version.
