You'll be able to buy your Dreame S100 Mini-LED TV imminently

Chinese electronics brand Dreame, best known for making intelligent home appliances such as robotic vacuum cleaners, cordless vacuums and hair dryers, is targeting the home entertainment sector with the imminent launch of its first smart TV.

The Dreame Aura Mini LED 4K TV S100 will go on sale in Europe on February 5, and it looks to be quite a premium product for what is an entirely new TV brand. We first saw this TV at the IFA 2025 exhibition in Germany last September, and so we knew what to expect. Now the company has published an official product page on its German website, after revealing its launch date in a newsletter to customers.

The Dreame Aura S100 is said to combine a standard QLED panel with a Mini-LED backlight and full-array local dimming that ensures high contrast, deep blacks and vivid colours. It’s going to launch in four sizes, with 55-, 65-, 75- and 86-inch variants, with the biggest of them capable of achieving 1,000 nits peak HDR brightness.

Dreame said the Aura S100 should be perfect for gamers, with a dedicated Game Console Mode that takes advantage of its 144Hz panel, Variable Refresh Rates and Auto Low-Latency Mode capabilities to ensure smooth graphics even in the fastest video games. These feature are paired with dedicated HDMI 2.1 gaming ports and a Dreamind Pro AI Processor that’s capable of scaling up 2K content to 4K resolution and adapting the colour and clarity to create vivid yet natural-looking images. The Google TV operating system is on board, providing access to streaming services and hundreds of apps.

What really excites us about the Dreame Aura S100 TV is its insanely powerful sound system. The TV comes with an integrated soundbar that supports 4.1.2-channel surround sound and boasts 11 individual speaker drivers, four of which are up-firing speakers, generating a total output of 70-watts. Audio clarity will be enhanced through AI-enabled EQ adjustment, rich bass and immersive overhead sound, the company said.

Dreame has not yet said how much the S100 TV is going to cost, but given the company comes from China, where it has to compete with the likes of TCL and Hisense, we’d imagine it’s going to slap on a fairly competitive price tag. There will be discounts for early birds too – with the company confirming that it’s going to slash the price of the 65-inch model by €300 (around £260) if you buy it before the end of March. That’s a decent saving. It’s not clear if there will be discounts for the other size options, but we certainly hope so.

You might want to wait

If anyone has their heart set on buying a Dreame TV but has a preference for picture quality over sound, they may want to hang on until the company launches the Dreame V3000 Mini-LED TV, which is supposed to be its flagship model. The V3000 was also on show at IFA and the company said at the time it’ll launch both models in the new year, so if you do decide to wait, it might not be for long.

The Dreame V3000 ranges in size from 55-inches to 100-inches, and while it does not have an integrated soundbar, it makes up for that omission with a much better display that’s capable of reaching 2,800 nits brightness. It also slaps on a Black Crystal True Colour Screen coating, which soaks up all but 1.8% of ambient light to essentially eliminate annoying reflections from the sunlight. In addition, it has a blazing-fast 300Hz refresh rate, 5.3 millisecond input lag and support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, putting it firmly into the top performer ranks for console gamers.

With any luck, Dreame will follow up the launch of the S100 with the debut of the V3000 not long afterwards.
