Bang & Olufsen of Mayfair can be found near the recently revitalised Hanover Square and Medici courtyard, part of an extensive 15-year redevelopment of the area into a luxury shopping hub. From the front it might look fairly innocuous, but the store itself is extensive, spanning more than 4,000 square feet - so there’s plenty of room for shoppers to come and experience B&O’s expert picture and audio craftsmanship in person.

Within the store sits a state-of-the-art demonstration area that allows shoppers to experience the company’s products at their very best - in an immersive environment that showcases the unique capabilities B&O is renowned for. There will also be an activation zone within the store that will host curated events that cater to shopper’s passions, such as live music, workshops, podcast recordings, special guests and more.

“Our New Bond Street home will provide a buzzing, vibrant environment perfectly placed to showcase our brand and deliver the magical sound experiences Bang & Olufsen is renowned for,” said B&O’s UK and Ireland Head of Retail James Simons. “With the Elizabeth line now open, we’re readying ourselves to welcome visitors from all corners of the country to join us in our new London destination, just a two-minute walk from Bond Street station.”

It all sounds very luxurious and that’s to be expected, given that Bang & Olufsen is a renowned luxury brand, known for creating a series of high-end consumer products that look absolutely stunning. For instance the BeoVision Harmony OLED TV is a visual masterpiece in more ways than one, with its unique two-piece soundbar that appears like butterfly wings and slowly folds out when the TV is switched on. Equally elegant is the Beovision Contour, which packs one of the most capable audio systems found in any OLED TV. Additionally, the company is known for its premium audio products, such as the Beosound Theatre soundbar that’s perfect for any TV.

“Bang & Olufsen of Mayfair has been designed to capture the senses as you move through the store, inviting visitors to see, hear, and feel nearly 100 years of audio-visual innovation like never before,” said B&O’s market director Scott Anderson. “Nestled among luxury apartments, 18th century buildings, and a new public courtyard, the new store will strengthen our presence in London, while complementing our existing locations in the capital, such as Harrods and Selfridges.”

B&O is inviting customers to come and experience its unique audio visual craftsmanship in person when the store opens in early 2023. It will be located at 72 New Bond Street, W1S 1RR.
