The wheels of Samsung Electronics’s 2026 TV release cycle are slowly turning, with the company announcing U.S. prices for its new range of Micro RGB TVs that feature RGB LED backlighting technology.
They build on the debut of last year’s monster-sized 115-inch MR95F Micro RGB TV, with the new additions including the R95H and the R85H, which are both available in smaller sizes. What’s more, they’re priced extremely aggressively in comparison to last year’s model.
The Samsung R95H is the more premium of the two, and it’s being offered in three sizes – 65-inches, 75-inches and 85-inches, with prices of $3,199, $4,499 and $6,499, respectively. We don’t have U.K. prices yet, but at the current exchange rate, that works out at around £2,367, £3,329 and £4,810, respectively, putting them within the budgets of far more people compared to last year’s model, which was priced at an astonishing $29,999.
As for the step-down Samsung R85H, this starts at just $1,599 for the smallest 55-inch model, rising to $2,099 for the 65-inch variant, $2,799 for the 75-inch model and $3,999 for the biggest 85-inch model.
These prices are extremely compelling. For instance, the 65-inch R95H at $3,199 is cheaper than the equivalent size LG G6 OLED TV, which is priced at $3,399. It’s also cheaper than Hisense’s UR9 Mini-LED TV, which is currently selling for around $3,499 in U.S. stores.
The aforementioned Samsung MR95F from last year is also carrying over into 2026 with its single 115-inch size. But don’t expect much by way of discount on that one, as it’s still priced at $29,999.
So long as you avoid the temptation to go overboard with last year’s monster, you’re going to be getting a lot of bang for your buck if you opt for one of Samsung’s Micro RGB televisions. Because of the RGB LED backlight system, they offer excellent colour reproduction that covers 100% of the Bt.2020 colour space. They’re also extremely bright, with several thousand nits, based on the model choice, and they also come with the company’s increasingly staple anti-glare panel coating to ensure they can be enjoyed in brightly lit rooms.

The new models are all powered by Samsung’s Micro RGB AI Engine Pro, a chipset that was developed especially for the Micro RGB TV family, and they feature Micro RGB Color Booster Pro, Micro RGB HDR Pro, and AI Motion Enhancer Pro technology. For the R95H, there’s also Samsung’s Motion Xcelerator 165Hz for gaming, with the R85H models having the same feature, albeit at just 144Hz.
Samsung is also being extremely generous with the TVs’ audio capabilities. Both new models feature Dolby Atmos sound with Object Tracking Sound and Q-Symphony integration, which means they can be hooked up wirelessly to five external Samsung speakers or amps. They run the One UI Tizen platform, and come with Samsung Gaming Hub and Samsung TV Plus.
The Samsung R95H and R85H are available to pre-order in the U.S. now through the company’s official website and also retailers such as Best Buy. Later this year, consumers will also be able to buy a 100-inch model, with pricing to be confirmed, while the R95H will also come in a ridiculously large 130-inch model.
Samsung is offering one of the most extensive TV ranges of any brand this year, with its upcoming OLED range headed up by the S95H and S90H, and also its Neo QLED TVs, which will be headlined by the 8K resolution, 98-inch QN990H.
