Samsung Electronics seems to be planning a massive expansion of its OLED TV lineup, with listings from a European database for spare parts indicating it’ll launch a new, higher-end model, as well as several cheaper ones.
While it was assumed that Samsung’s 2026 flagship OLED TV would be the S95H – the company appears to have skipped the “G” – FlatpanelsHD has unearthed details from the publicly available database that indicates it could also launch a new S99H OLED TV next year. If so, that would presumably mean it’s considered to be above the S95H, which is expected to succeed this year’s S95F OLED TV.
FlatpanelsHD says it’s not really clear what advantage the Samsung S99H OLED TV might have over the S95H, because the company already uses its QD-OLED panels for its flagship range where possible. The database listing suggests that the S99H will come in four sizes – 55, 65, 77 and 83-inches – and that all but the larger size will have QD-OLED panels. The 83-inch version will have a WOLED panel made by LG Display. But it’s the same deal for the S95H.
It’s possible that Samsung could reserve its One Connect box, which allows users to hide all of the unsightly cables, exclusively for the S99H, or else there could be something else that sets it apart, such as a more powerful processor, or some AI features. But there’s really no clue yet as to what the differences might be. Nor, we should add, is it guaranteed that Samsung will launch an S99H OLED TV, for while the database listing confirms the product’s existence, it could still be shelved.
Just as intriguing is the revelation that Samsung is also planning to launch more affordable OLED TVs, with listings for S83H and S82H models found in the database too, alongside the already known S90H and S85H TVs.
The latter models will replace this year’s S90F and S85F OLED TVs, but the former are entirely new products that would likely be lower down the pecking order, so to speak, meaning that they would almost certainly be cheaper, with certain premium features sacrificed.
Flatpanels HD says the database shows that the S83H will be available in sizes ranging from 48- to 83-inches, while the S82H will range from 48- to 77-inches, with both models featuring WOLED panels. Given that Samsung’s S85F was meant to rival LG Electronics B5 OLED TV, they may be more akin to LG’s now defunct A series OLED TVs, which were discontinued a couple of years ago.
All of this is speculation though, as there are no further details available than the product names and sizes in the database. And that means it cannot definitively be said Samsung will launch these TVs, only that it is thinking about it. There is a precedent, though. Samsung did launch a slightly more affordable OLED model called the S84F in the U.S. and Canada earlier this year, but not in Europe.
Further expanding Samsung’s potential OLED TV lineup, the database also mentions an S88H OLED TV with sizes ranging from 55- to 77-inches, with WOLED panels. That suggests they may be slightly superior, and a tad less affordable than the S85H models.
Last but not least, the database also made mention of Samsung’s iconic gallery TV The Frame, which could have an even larger size option next year. The 2025 version of The Frame was listed as the LS03F and maxed out at 85-inches, but there’s now a listing for a new LS03H TV that includes a 98-inch model. That’s one hell of a picture frame.
