Xgimi cranks up the brightness with Horizon 20 and Titan projectors

Chinese outfit Xgimi, the company behind the popular MoGo Pro, Aura and Horizon Max portable projectors, has unveiled its most advanced products yet in the shape of the new Horizon 20 series and the Titan.

Announced at IFA 2025 Berlin, the Xgimi Horizon 20 projectors are incredibly bright, with the series-topping Horizon 20 Max said to deliver pictures rated at an incredible 5,700 ISO lumens, thanks to its RGB triple-laser and X-Master Red Ring Lens technology.

The Xgimi Titan was announced separately and is said to be a commercial projector and its brightness is only just a bit lower than the Horizon 20 Max, rated at 5,000 ISO lumens, which should still be more than enough to deliver astonishingly clear and detailed pictures in rooms with lots of ambient light. The Xgimi Titan also boasts an impressive 5,000,000: 1 dynamic contrast ratio, which should ensure perfect contrast and tons of detail.

The Xgimi Horizon 20 series includes three models, with the aforementioned Horizon 20 Max being the flagship, followed by the Horizon 20 Pro with 4,100 ISO lumens, and the bog-standard Horizon 20, which delivers 3,200 ISO lumens of brightness. All three should be fairly decent in bright conditions.

According to Xgimi, the main difference between the three models is the level of brightness they provide, for each of them looks identical and comes with Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support, as well as Filmmaker Mode and IMAX Enhanced, plus lens shifting and optical zoom features.

Also present is the Google TV platform with native Netflix support and low-latency gaming capabilities, with Xgimi saying that the three projectors all have a lag of just 1 millisecond and support 240Hz refresh rates. They come with an integrated stand that swivels to simplify setup, so they can be placed anywhere – such as directly on the floor or on a table – and an integrated Harman Kardon sound system made up of two 12-watt speakers that pumps out crisp and clear 360-degree audio.

We can expect big things from the Xgimi Horizon 20 projectors, as the company’s earlier models, including the ultra-portable MoGo 4 and the much-heftier Horizon Ultra have earned rave reviews in the past.

There are less details about the Xgimi Titan (below), but as the company's first entrance into the commercial market, it’s aimed at more professional users and according to its product page on the company’s website, it boasts some extremely powerful optics. That said, it hasn’t yet published any specifications, so we’ll have to wait and see.

Xgimi said the Horizon 20 series projectors will start shipping in October, but they’re available to pre-order from its U.S. website now, and from its U.K. portal “soon”. Prices start at $1,699 for the Horizon 20, rising to $2,499 for the Horizon 20 Pro and $2,999 for the Horizon 20 Max. However, early birds can get them cheap, with an “earlybird” pre-order promotion currently offering them for just $1,189, $1,749, and $2,399 respectively.

The Xgimi Titan is not yet available for pre-order and there’s no word yet on when it might launch or what it might cost.
