  1. There has been talk of the Toshiba Z series which adds 100/120 Hz to the Regza X range. Do you guys know when this is due?

  2. when you test the x series can you please test whether it will actually display 1080/24p? becuse thies may well be the firts LCD to do so.

  3. Would it possible for you guys to set up a mailing list for these offers, I keep missing them!! I would have snapped up the Currys offer straight off as i’m waiting for that exact model to drop under £1000 before I buy it.

  4. I would very much appreaciate if you could make some direct comparisons between this one and the LE40M86 that you tested. I think they play both in the same league but I (and i know many others) have trouble deciding which of the two to favourise! Which one has the better picture in SD and which one in HD? Do you see this one in any certain category significiently above or under the LE40M86/87? Thanks!

  5. Why oh why does the 37″ have to have a different contrast ratio?! 3500 instead of 6000. Would that mean that a lot of the points made for this review won’t count for the 37″ model, like colour reproduction and that “3D effect” that good blacks can have on a picture?

  6. I’d be interested on your take on this new TV from sharp http://www.sharpusa.com/products/ModelLanding/0,1058,1834,00.html , LC-32GP1U so called “Gamers TV” with Vyper drive mode that eliminates perceptible lag between game console and display on TV. Features HDMI, DVI and component that all accept a 1080p signal which seems a rare thing at the moment, could be perfect for all the xbox 360 users that don’t want to fork out for an Elite.

  7. When is the review going tobe up guys ?

  8. Yeh, get your fingers out – do you think this is a holiday weekend? They’ve got one of these in my local Currys. It looks really good and the extra two inches may make it even better than the Samsung. Shame it looks to have only two HDMIs though.

  9. Can we have an update on the update please Vince.
Im holding off buying a tv until the review is up .

  10. Same here! I’m between the M87 from Samsung and this new Toshiba and would really like to get one of them soon. Please update us with the status of the Review on the Toshi.

  11. Can’t test the 24fps input. sorry. Someone mentioned that he got a HTPC to output 24 Hz interlaced to the TV successfully.
I am writing to Toshiba to confirm this, and also what it does with the 24 hz input. Very few 24fps out there at the moment, dual LG and video processors, who is going to have those?.

The mailing list may be considered as spam. Vincent has setup up a bargains section in the forums.

Review should be out in the next 2 or 3 days.
